Greetings

Welcome to the home of Hagley Camera Club.

Actually based in Stourton near Kinver (a couple of hundred yards from the infamous Stewponey), the club caters for the interests of photographers with a variety of tastes and expertise, providing a sociable and relaxed environment. Please do not be worried about the potential to be 'out of your depth', we really are not that sort of club.

We try to keep a diary of varied 'activites' in order to involve the whole membership as much as possible.

Competitions are held both 'internally' i.e. between club members, and also between Hagley CC and other local clubs/societies. We hold critique evenings, digital technique workshops, and also 'studio' evenings - both model portraiture and still-life.

Throughout the summer season we have a few of our Tuesday meetings in the form of photography based outings to relatively local attractions, as well as the occasional day or days out if venturing further afield.

Previous general outings have included the Severn Valley Railway, Kinver rock houses, The Brecons, The Peak District, and most recently Northumberland.

Outings of a more 'specialist' interest, specifically nature and wildlife photography, are generally organised by our wildlife enthusiast Phil Homer. This has included trips to see and photograph Wolves, Big Cats, as well as the more widely covered Raptors, with Barn Owls being a very popular photographic subject.

Please remember that all images are shown at reduced quality to increase speed of online availability.
